Posted on August 8, 2010 | 2 CommentsOver the last five years, the Swedish Red Cross through its local branch in Rö and committed volunteer Christina Lindholm, has been running summer camps for caregivers whose partners are currently living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Aphasia , and/or Multiple Sclerosis (MS). -
Kenya diary: A whole village benefits from water kiosks

The highlight of my day is “Borehole 11”. Remarkably this is not just a water point built by the Red Cross, but the very name of a village home to a 130,000 people. An additional 24,000 people, nomad families affected by the current drought, have built their huts around the village.
