The streets of Manila and of several cities around the archipelago will be filled with people, all running to promote the volunteering spirit. Sitting in the hall on the last day, and listening to the Declaration on Volunteering being read-out, I was proud to have been a part of the team. She was so pleasantly surprised by her two-night visit to the shelter that she intends to become a Red Cross volunteer.
